Vangelis Apostolakis

Vangelis Apostolakis has over 40 years of professional experience.

He worked at KPMG Greece from 1995 to 2024, serving as Vice Chairman, Head of Advisory, and Head of KPMG Enterprise & Family Business.

Prior to joining KPMG, he held positions at British Telecom in London, Ernst & Young, and ICAP in Athens.

Throughout his career, he has led a wide range of consulting projects for domestic and international companies. His expertise includes strategic planning, designing systems to enhance operations and efficiency, organizational restructuring and business redesign, and the development of management information systems.

His professional experience also extends to Human Capital and Organizational Development, where he has led projects involving job evaluation, employee satisfaction surveys, training, outplacement services, organizational effectiveness, assessment of workforce potential, executive selection, and competency assessments using assessment and development centers.

In addition to his consulting roles, he was responsible for Human Resources Management at KPMG and served as Head of Clients & Markets for Greece, representing the firm on the global strategic client development team.

Since 2015, he has focused extensively on Family Businesses, having advised numerous medium, large, and very large Greek family-owned enterprises. His work in this area includes designing family constitutions, developing governance structures across the family, ownership, and business levels, and establishing succession systems for ownership and management.

He is the former Vice President of the Hellenic-British Chamber of Commerce and a member of several professional associations.
