Our fascinating story begins in the 1960s in a small workshop filled with the rich scent of paper and leather. Here, two passionate artisans, Theodoros and Eleni Chasapaki, dedicated their lives to the fine art of bookbinding, pouring their hearts and souls into creating unique, handcrafted books.

Thirty years later, the torch is passed to the next generation, Dimitris and Grigoria Chasapaki. Transitioning the company into The Writing Fields, they bring with them a fresh vision and a burning desire to innovate.

Following decades of deep research and hands-on experience in bookbinding technology, they achieve a breakthrough. They invent a revolutionary binding method that gives notebooks unprecedented durability and flexibility. They call it Flexbook.

By combining this new technology with striking, original designs and a dynamic in-house marketing team, they take their creation to the global stage. Today, Flexbook is an international brand loved by stationery enthusiasts in more than 35 countries around the world. Every product is a testament to innovation, exceptional design, and premium materials.

In 2026 they present globally Softbook, a new premium soft bookbinding which brings new excitement since it introduces great features with unique modern looks while maintaining the same amazing writing experience.

But the story doesn’t stop at beautiful design. The Writing Fields operates with a deep respect for our planet, adhering to the highest production standards and strict ISO certifications. Every year, we introduce new eco-friendly product lines. A proud milestone came recently in 2024, when our innovative I❤️CACTUS series was honored with the Gold Innovation Award by the Greek Marketing Academy.

Today, the company offers an extensive range of notebooks and corporate gifts inspired by the pure “magic of writing”.
