Spyros Karababas

Spyros is a technology enterpreneur. He is currently the founder and CEO of 7 Seas Innovation and also the founder of Solve.

He holds an Msc title from Bayes Business School (ex Cass Business School) on Logistics, Trade & Finance, BSc in Marketing and he is an Athens College Alumni.

His company, 7 Seas Innovation, offers Business development as a service for technology companies. He is also founder of Solve, a tourism technology startup.

Spyros routes to a third generation of large contractors family. After his family company defaulted in 2009 he went into the process of rediscovering himself and conquering his path. He shortly moved into the technology sector. From then on it has been an exciting roller coaster experience, which combined with the devastating but very useful experience of a default, along with shear passion for innovation drove him into a succesful path.

Top moment of his career is along with his, at the time, team, Cytech they undertook all technologies related to the fight against covid (PLF passenger locator form, DCC Digital Covid Certificate, Covid Tracker, Testing platforms and many others) and assisted Greek tourism, society and economy to make it through the turmoil and set a global benchmark, acknowledged worldwide, of how countries needed to address covid related issues. For that he was awarded with the Digital Transformation Manager of the year 2022 award.
