Popy Skagia

Popy Skagia was born in Athens in December 1963 and is the middle child of Theodoros and Anna Skagia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Deere College with further elaboration in Management and Organizational Behavior. Furthermore, in 1998, she followed a master’s program in Marketing of CIM – Charted Institute of Marketing.

Since 1988 she has been working at SKAG, stationery manufacturer which produces the branded SKAG (DIETHES SUPER) notebooks, the SKAG (UNIVERSITY) subject notebooks and the SKAG (SKAG SYSTEMS) Lever Arch files. She started her carrier from the Raw Materials Procurement Department, while in 1990, she organized the company’s Export Department and undertook the coordination and development of exports, which placed the SKAG Lever Arch files as the leading export product.

In March 2001 she assumed the duties of Marketing Director and in 2016 became Commercial Director. In May 2014, she was elected by the Board of Directors as CEO of SKAG, which she holds to this day. Her optimistic character and her creativity contribute decisively to the successful elaboration of her work.

In addition, Popy Skagia is the General Secretary of the Association of Suppliers of Stationery Items ΣΠΕΧ, Member of the Association of Enterprises of North Attica Σ.Ε.Β.Α., Member of the ΕΛΛΑ-ΔΙΚΑ ΜΑΣ initiative, Member of the Ε.Ι.Ε.Π. Customer Service Institute, Member of the Sales Institute of Greece Ι.Π.Ε. and elected alternate member of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Industrial Department of EBEA.

She speaks English fluently, she is married and the mother of a daughter.
