MARIA THEODOULIDOU is Group Procurement & Corporate Governance Director, BoD Secretary and member of the Executive Committee in the listed at the Athens Stock Exchange FOURLIS GROUP of Companies since May 2024. Earlier she was Group Finance Director Controlling, Planning and Corporate Governance (2009-2024) and Chief Audit Executive (2000–2008) in the same Group. She is an independent member of the Audit and Procurement Committee of Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator (HEDNO) since 2020 and an non executive member of the Audit Committee of TRADE ESTATES REIC since 2024. She is the Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce since 2023. She worked in KPMG Advisory as a Manager. She holds an M.Sc. in Operations Management from University of Manchester and an Eng in Industrial Engineering & Management from Technical University of Crete. She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). She is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece. She participated in the working groups and BoD meetings of the Hellenic Corporate Governance Council and was a member of the team that prepared the first and second edition of the Greek Corporate Governance Code. She actively supports the Youth Professional Solidarity Act-TLO by coordinating relating actions in cooperation with the Technical University of Crete since 2016 (www.act-tlo.gr). She has participated as a speaker or moderator in many corporate governance conferences. She deserve this award since throughout her professional life has managed to apply the core values of the Group for integrity, respect and effectiveness in every business task or project that has been engaged. Outstanding achievements in ethics and compliance management under the umbrella of the corporate governance framework of the Group were realized because of the tone at the top and the efforts of an inspired team in which she had the leading role.
