Kostis Hatzidakis
Minister of Finance of the Hellenic Republic
Kostis Hatzidakis is the Minister of Finance of the Hellenic Republic, a Member of the Hellenic Parliament, and Vice President of the New Democracy Party.
He was born in Rethymno, Crete, in 1965. He is a lawyer.
He was a Member of the European Parliament from 1994 to 2007. He has been a Member of the Hellenic Parliament since 2007, representing Athens B1 Constituency (North).
He has served as President of the Youth Organization of New Democracy (1992-1994), Member of the European Parliament (1994-2007), Minister of Transport (2007-2009), Minister of Development (2012-2014), Minister of Environment and Energy (2019-2021), Minister of Labour and Social Affairs (2021-2023).
