Konstantinos Vlachos

Konstantinos Vlachos brings over 26 years of extensive experience in the building materials market. He currently holds the position of Commercial Director of Mapei Hellas S.A., the Greek subsidiary of Mapei Group, headquartered in Milan.

Mapei is world leader in the production of building materials. It counts 93 factories in 36 different countries, 96 subsidiaries across 57 different countries, 12.500 employees and 4.2 billion euros consolidated turnover for 2023.

Since assuming the role of Commercial Director at Mapei Hellas 5 years ago, the company has achieved impressive results and a remarkable growth. The total increase in the company’s turnover during this period has doubled, while its export activity has surged by more than 140%, reflecting the success of his management.

Mapei products are integral to most of constructional, architectural and infrastructure projects worldwide.

Additionally, Mapei Hellas has earned the prestigious “Great Place to Work” certification, proving that it has created an ideal working experience and an excellent environment for its employees.

Prior to joining Mapei Hellas, he held a similar leadership position at another major building materials company for 21 years.

He has studied Geology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

He was honored in 2022 with the “Commercial Management, New Business Development, and Sales Manager of the Year” award.
