Effie Kyrinopoulou

Effie Kyrinopoulou is the Communications Lead at biobank.cy Center of Excellence for Biobanking and Biomedical Research at the University of Cyprus.

She has worked in the communications sector since 2000, providing strategic communications and public relations counsel to companies and organisations across both the private and public sectors.

She has extensive experience in the development and implementation of integrated corporate communications, brand communications, internal communications, media relations, crisis management and event management programmes in Greece and Cyprus.

Throughout her career, she has held senior positions in communications agencies, while also working as a communications lead for companies and organisations and as an external communications consultant on a wide range of projects. She has also served as a Parliamentary Assistant to a Member of the European Parliament, with responsibility for monitoring the work of the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection, as well as supporting and communicating the MEP’s parliamentary activities.

She holds a Master’s degree in Political Communication from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a degree in Communication and Media Studies from Panteion University.
