Vanessa Andreadi

Vanessa Andreadi is an Independent Non-Executive Director, Attorney-at-Law and senior Compliance and Risk executive with over 26 years of experience in regulatory compliance, corporate governance, risk management, sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering (AML).

She currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Remuneration Committees of YKNOT Invest S.A., a listed Greek shipping company, and as Second Vice President and Board Member of the Compliance Association of Greece (ASCO/SEKASE).

Vanessa spent 26 years with Deloitte Business Solutions SA, progressing through senior roles in Tax, Legal, Risk and Compliance and ultimately serving as Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy Chief Risk Officer. She advised senior leadership on complex regulatory and risk matters, led organizational change and contributed to strengthening governance and risk frameworks across the business. Her experience covers a broad range of areas, including regulatory and engagement risk, AML, sanctions and financial crime, Tax & Legal risk and operational resilience, with regional leadership responsibilities for AML across 19 countries.

She holds a Law Degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, an M.Sc. in Business for Lawyers from ALBA Graduate Business School and a Postgraduate Specialization in Tax Law from the Department of Economics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a graduate of The Boardroom Board Education Programme. She is currently undertaking the Corporate Governance Program at Columbia Business School.
