I am honored to be among the candidates for the Health & Safety Manager of the Year award and grateful for the recognition of myself and DESFA by the jury. Congratulations to everyone who participated in the competition. I also want to congratulate the organizers for this excellent initiative, which for the first time includes the important subject of health and safety.

I believe that this award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of not only myself, but also the entire excellent team in the HSSEQ Department at DESFA. We have been working creatively to address every issue, big or small, for over 25 years. I also want to recognize our Executive Director, Ms Maria Rita Gali, for her practical commitment and daily example, as well as the trust she has placed in me and our team. Most importantly, I want to thank all the DESFA staff for their active participation in cultivating a culture of health and safety in our company.
