Konstantinos Papageorgiou is president of EEL (Hellenic Logistics Company) , member of the National Council for the Development and Competitiveness of the Supply Chain co-owner and general manager of PTL (Papageorgiou Transport & Logistics),. He is also a PhD candidate at the University of Piraeus with an emphasis on combined transport and sustainability. He has attended programs in supply chain sustainability at Cambridge and business ethics at Yale, and is currently studying supply chain at MIT. In 2021 he has been awarded as a top manager by the IRU emphasizing green transport.
PTL has is one of the few transport companies in Greece that invests in alternative CNG fuels, while also calculating its carbon footprint. At the same time, PTL has participated in research projects such as E-CMR and E-CALL. Aiming at pioneering and innovating, PTL is one of the few transporters in the whole of Europe that carries out specialized live fish transport.
Konstantinos Papageorgiou was invited in 2022 as an expert to participate in a day of the European Parliament in order to submit proposals for the modernization of the road transport sector.
