Eleni Bitsiou

Ms Bitsiou is a Mining and Metallurgical Engineer graduated from the National Technical University of Athens with a Masters degree in Economics from Birkbeck University London.

She has also attended various courses at City University and London School of Economics. She started her working experience at Sigma International a company established in London, dealing with management of marine spare parts, a sector with huge involvement of logistics and supply chain.

She continued her career as an Engineer at DionyssosMarbles S.A., however her preference in the logistics business was obvious. She took over the Business Development responsibility for company KOMVOS S.A. a 3PL company, from 1993 to 2001, gaining experience from various projects and positions related to the supply chain. From 2001 to 2006, due to increasing market’s needs  for Greece because of the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, she returned working for the industrial sector for five years, working as an engineer for Fulgor Hellenic Electric Cable Company S.A.

She continued her career in SYNERGY SA, where she has been working for the last 17 years as Chief Commercial Officer, while she is also Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Company. At the same time, she is responsible for company’s Sustainability Strategy and development.
