Constantinos Kouvaras is a passionate business manager with over 20 years international experience in building sustainable value growth models for premium and super premium brands mainly in the spirits industry, across Europe, Middle East & Africa.

Constantinos has a proven track record in value growth in an intense international environment with a 10 year topline CAGR of 10% in his previous role as MD Middle East & North Africa at Bacardi, from 2007 to 2018, operating in external environments characterized by regular crisis and constant state of uncertainty.

A strong focus on setting up and managing multinational & multifunctional teams, and the development of talent through inspiring leadership and innovative route to market strategies. A team player, believer in trust and transparency as the foundations of fruitful and mutually profitable relationships both with internal and external stakeholders.

For the last 6 years, he returned to Greece and focused on reigniting the Bacardi portfolio business in Greece through a unique partnership between Athenian Breweries and the newly formed Bacardi Greece, delivering strong topline growth, at +65% vs pre-Athenian Breweries partnership, and a total 2.6pp growth in total market share.

This unique combination of two multinational subsidiaries, and its success to date, has led to considerable discussion within the Bacardi organization, on how such a model can be replicated around the world. The Greek business has returned to investment grade within Bacardi, after a decade long dis-investment during the Greek crisis years.

The newly formed Bacardi Greece, now employees 20 people, recently certified by the Best Places to Work organization, and has already repatriated three Greek executive back to Greece.
