Christina Alexandropoulou

Christina Alexander Alexandropoulou, CFPS, M.IPSA, F.ISRM, is a highly recognised Security, Safety, Risk and Resilience professional and an influential voice in the international Security and Safety community, with more than 25 years of experience across multinational organisations, hospitality, manufacturing, sports, facilities management, health & safety, sustainability, crisis management and senior leadership.

Christina currently holds an operational Security & Safety role with Vikos Falcons BC, bringing her extensive experience in corporate security, sports-event security, health & safety, crisis management, emergency preparedness and organisational resilience to professional basketball. She is also a Lecturer at the Democritus University of Thrace, teaching within the MSc programme in Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Management in the Chemical Industry.

She is the Founder of the Alexander Ethics Foundation (AEF), an initiative focused on promoting ethical leadership, responsible governance, human-centred innovation and the responsible use of emerging technologies, with the ambition of connecting ethics, leadership, business and positive societal impact.

Throughout her career, Christina has held senior positions with leading international organisations including Philip Morris International / Papastratos, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, adidas and Avaya, with responsibilities spanning security, market safety, health & safety, facilities management, loss prevention, supply-chain and manufacturing security, executive protection, crisis management, sustainability and operational risk.

She is recognised internationally for her contribution to the Security profession and has received numerous distinctions, including the GDS Group Gold Security Leader of the Year and recognition as a Top Woman in Security. She was also a Finalist in the Manager of the Year Awards in the Security & Cybersecurity category.

Christina was the first Greek professional elected to the Global Board of Directors of ASIS International and has held several leadership positions within the organisation, including Vice President of the ASIS International Aegean Chapter and leadership roles within ASIS Women in Security. She is also the Founder of the first Lean In Circle for Women in Security in Greece, supporting the advancement, mentoring and empowerment of women in the profession.

She currently serves as Board Member of IFMA Greece Chapter, Co-Chair of the ISRM Mediterranean Chapter and Private Sector Chair of OSAC in Greece.

A passionate mentor, speaker, educator and published author, Christina regularly participates as a keynote speaker, panellist, moderator and mentor at national and international conferences, professional forums and academic initiatives. She has contributed extensively to discussions around security leadership, fire safety, health & safety, sustainability, crisis management, women in security and hybrid security solutions, with a particular focus on sustainable approaches that protect people, planet and organisational value.

Christina is also a published author and co-author of the international leadership book How to Survive and Thrive – Volume III, created by Joe Foster, Founder of Reebok. The book brings together the stories and experiences of entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders who have overcome adversity and transformed challenges into growth and impact. It achieved No. 1 Best Seller status across four Amazon marketplaces — the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Christina has a longstanding commitment to volunteering, social responsibility and community impact. She has organised, supported and volunteered with organisations and initiatives focused on recycling and environmental sustainability, stray animal welfare, cancer research and children’s welfare, including the Terry Fox Run, Let’s Do it World, and SOS Children’s Villages in Greece. She has also supported Save a Greek Stray and participated in environmental initiatives such as HELMEPA beach clean-ups, sharing her commitment to environmental responsibility with her twin daughters.

Her commitment to giving back also extends to the professional community through mentoring, supporting women in Security and Safety, encouraging young professionals and contributing her expertise to academic, professional and community initiatives.
