Lampros Bisalas is the CEO of Sunlight Group Energy Storage Systems, a member of the Olympia investment group and global technology company specializing in innovative industrial mobility batteries for the intralogistics sector and Energy Storage Systems for renewables. Mr Bisalas also serves as Executive Member of the Sunlight Group Board of Directors and is a BoD member of EUROBAT, the Association of European Automotive and Industrial Battery Manufacturers.

He has risen through the ranks, carrying extensive experience of Sunlight Group’s business operations worldwide. Since 2008, he has served in various financial, business transformation, sales and business development divisions – both in the parent company and its subsidiaries, in seven different countries. Prior to being appointed CEO, he was Sunlight’s CCO, leading critical areas and contributing to the company’s growth in exports – from 11 to over 110 countries in four years. In addition, he spearheaded the Innovation Acceleration Program, the biggest innovation project that Sunlight has ever initiated, to follow –and subsequently lead– the latest trends around lithium batteries. In that capacity, he played a key role and significantly contributed to the accelerated development of innovative products in lithium-ion battery technologies, which promptly rendered the company from a late entrant to a market leader in lithium-ion batteries with a 40% market share in Europe and the Americas.

Lampros Bisalas holds a BSc in Business Administration from Panteion University (Greece) and an Executive MBA from the IMD Business School (Switzerland). He has also graduated from the Advanced Management Program of the Harvard Business School (USA), and has attended the Pricing Program of the Wharton Business School (USA), as well as Strategy, Innovation, Leadership, Artificial Intelligence and ESG-focused courses at IMD Business School. Lastly, Mr. Bisalas has graduated from the Swiss Armed Forces Training Command for managing crises and crisis-related communications.
