Aris Cheretis

Aris is a passionate technology professional with more than 20 years of international experience across Life Sciences and FMCG industries, working in multinational organizations such as AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.

The last 11 years, he is leading IT of AstraZeneca Greece accomplishing vital milestones of the IT and digital transformation strategy of the company. He is also the IT Integration Lead in the regions of Europe and Canada for AstraZeneca’s late acquisition of Alexion pharmaceutical company. He has deep experience in leading x-country and x-functional IT strategic projects in the areas of governance, digital transformation, healthcare technology innovation, operational effectiveness and agile ways of working.

Aris is an intuitive problem-solver with strong leadership capabilities and a collaborative spirit that guarantees teams’ onboarding and fulfilling both immediate and long-term goals of the organization and its internal and external clients. He gives emphasis on knowledge sharing and commitment to understand current technological trends.

He has been awarded several times for his contribution in IT and the value that technology brings into business and people’s lives.

Aris holds a Bsc in Computer Science from University of Portsmouth and an MBA from Strathclyde University. In his free time, he likes spending time with his family, reading books, traveling, and jogging.
