As Senior Manager of Wellness & Safety at OTE Group, I have dedicated my professional journey to cultivating a culture of safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement. The way I collaborate and operate to achieve corporate goals is defined by strategic insight, empathy, and the ability to inspire and mobilize teams toward shared objectives.

Over the past year, together with my team, we launched initiatives that led to:

A 12% reduction in workplace accidents, resulting in significant cost savings.

An increase in employee engagement, driven by wellness programs and psychological and nutritional support services.

Enhanced crisis preparedness, with a nationwide network of 1,800 volunteers and 95% participation in earthquake safety and emergency response training.

My approach combines innovation with human-centered leadership. I integrated digital tools for incident reporting, developed wellness programs with nationwide reach, and strengthened the Safety & Health culture by designing and implementing a comprehensive training program for all employees and contractors.

OTE’s recognition with 1st place in the EU-OSHA Healthy Workplaces Good Practice Awards confirms the effectiveness of our strategies and their impact at a European level.

I believe I deserve this award because my work goes beyond numbers: it empowers people, transforms cultures, and sets new standards for leadership in workplace Safety & Health.
