Dimitra Kalantoni

Dimitra is the founder and CEO of EXELIXI ZOIS, a venture focused on empowering children living in closed child protection institutions. 

She is the mother of a rowing champion and recently completed her Executive MBA at the Anglophone Alba Graduate Business School. 

She has worked in the hotel industry in Greece, Spain, and Austria and has experience in public relations, event planning, marketing, and communication. She has participated in the organization of a NATO conference and has distinctions in the automotive field. She has also been involved in setting up a large hotel chain division and has worked as a project manager. 

Currently, she is the Head of Commercial Operations at SNFCC, where she oversees the country leasing department for events. 

She is fluent in English, German, and Spanish and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Nautical Club. 

Dimitra’s love for her son and all children motivated her to take action to support children living in child protection institutions. She met a young girl with anxiety about the future during a visit to a hospitality structure and this inspired her to start EXELIXI ZOIS with the support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
