Thanasis Konistis

Mr. Thanasis Konistis has extensive experience in the automotive industry, having held key management positions within the Volkswagen brand as well as the wider Volkswagen Group.

In recent years, he served as Head of After Sales and New Business Development for several Volkswagen Group brands, while as Head of Volkswagen he played a pivotal role in the brand’s growth and establishment in the Greek market.

Moreover, Mr. Konistis has been actively involved in sustainable mobility initiatives, assuming a strategic role in the project to transform the island of Astypalaia into a model island for “smart” and sustainable transportation, through the collaboration between Volkswagen AG and the Hellenic Republic.

Today, he holds the position of General Manager at GEO Mobility Hellas, a subsidiary of the multinational Union Group and the official importer of Geely and Zeekr in Greece, leading the strategic development and market positioning of both brands in the Greek market.
