Yianna Karamitsa

In Nov 1996 I graduated as one of 12 women among 120 students from University of Patras’ Polytechnic School as an Electrical & Computer Engineer.
I count more than 20y experience in managerial commercial roles and positions, mainly in multinational companies, with a single motive: delivery of results with passion and through winning teams.

My career includes mainly 3 periods in 3 multinational companies and is marked respectively by 3 key milestones-missions.
I served Frigoglass from August 1998 until November 2008, with a 2-year intermission in the Hellenic Arms Industry. I started as an R&D Engineer but soon I moved to Commercial roles, capitalizing on my engineering knowledge and background. As a Sales Office Manager for Frigoglass (2008), I accepted a parallel assignment by SFA Turkey integration, working 2 days/week at SFA Plant near Istanbul. I visited customers in Eastern Europe and compiled a sales business plan along with a fully detailed action plan. A great challenge being a Greek female Sales Manager in a Turkish Plant representing the buyer to clients & distributors in Russia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, with communication barriers and different working culture.
In January 2010, I moved to Coca-Cola Hellenic with a career shift to the FMCG business and stayed for 9 years in various commercial roles (Key Account Manager, National Account Manager, Sales Capability Manager and finally Route to Market Manager GR/CY). Every role and assignment were a different challenge and a different “study”. Key milestone, while serving the role of RTM Manager (2016-18), the Greek operations were included in a major project called RTM Reboot, sponsored by CCH HQ, and I was assigned as project leader. We had to assess and restructure all RTM’s departments (Sales, Logistics & Finance), upon approval by the BoD.
In November 2018, I joined Edenred as a Sales Director, accepting the challenge to build from scratch a sales team in response to the swift from a monopolistic model to a competitive landscape. I left Q1 2023 with THE BEST team of 34 people with 6 different subteams delivering +25% growth in NSR, above budget, scoring top 3 out of 48 countries in Field Sales Excellence KPIs, and having 3 successors for my position with the highest team engagement score!
In April 2023, the owner of Eλvida Foods selected me as the General Manager, in order to change from a manufacturing to a market-oriented culture, amend the whole structure, implement commercial culture & accountability, rebuild operations, set
corporate governance rules and prepare the organization for new investment. In September 2024 I became a member of Ελvida Foods Board of Directors and since May 2025 I was promoted to the position of Chief Executive Officer.
