Effie Lazaridou

Effie is leading the non-profit organization New Agriculture New Generation (NANG) since its inception in 2018 (founding grant: Stavros Niarchos Foundation).
Under her leadership, NANG had an outstanding evolution. In only five years, she led the organization and her team into becoming an EU Best Practice by DG Agri; trusted partner of international institutional organizations, such as Citi Foundation and the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean of the Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations; and acknowledged stakeholder of the Greek agrifood sector, with 30.000+ beneficiaries and EU 28M+ total economic output in the Greek economy.
She was recognized for her work as an NGO leader in Kathimerini’s “ΗΓΕΤΙΔΕΣ” publication. She is a Μember of the Board of Directors of the “Smart Agro Hub” Competence Center SA, and Μember in several industry Think Tanks and Expert Committees. She frequently contributes with opinion articles regarding the sector and female empowerment and is a regular speaker in industry conventions.
Beyond her proven managerial skills, Effie, is a leader, conscious of the impact she has on her team. She exercises sincere, bold and in-depth conversations with her people, which spark self-reflection and motivate action and change.
She had previously excelled as marketing strategist with a proven track record in successfully delivering complex international projects in SE Europe, leading multinational multi-disciplinary teams and collaborating with multistakeholder groups and nationwide bodies.
She holds an Integrated Master in Chemical Engineering (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), a Master of Arts in Cultural Management (City University. London) and a Professional PGDip in Marketing (Chartered Institute of Marketing. London). She is a trainer, certified business coach, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing London, mentor in several entrepreneurship programs, professional flutist and volunteer with Make-A-Wish-Greece.
She is a proud mother of a 9-year-old boy.

Η Έφη ηγείται του μη κερδοσκοπικού οργανισμού Νέα Γεωργία Νέα Γενιά από την προγραμματική του εξαγγελία το 2018 μέχρι σήμερα (ιδρυτική χορηγία: Ίδρυμα Σταύρος Νιάρχος).
Υπό την ηγεσία της, ο οργανισμός έχει σημειώσει μια αξιοσημείωτη εξέλιξη. Μέσα σε μόλις 5 χρόνια, οδήγησε τη Νέα Γεωργία Νέα Γενιά και τους ανθρώπους της σε ευρωπαϊκό Best Practice της DG Agri και να είναι έμπιστος συνεργάτης διεθνών θεσμικών οργανισμών όπως το Citi Foundation και η Γενική Επιτροπή Αλιείας για τη Μεσόγειο του Οργανισμού Τροφίμων & Γεωργίας (FAO) των Ηνωμένων Εθνών και αναγνωρισμένο μέτοχο του ελληνικού αγροδιατροφικού τομέα, με 30.000+ δικαιούχους και συνολική οικονομική παραγωγή 28 εκατομμυρίων ευρώ στην ελληνική οικονομία.
Η Έφη αναγνωρίστηκε για το έργο της στην έκδοση «Ηγέτιδες» της Καθημερινής. Είναι μέλος Δ.Σ. του Smart Agro Hub Competence Center, των Επιτροπών Αγροτεχνολογίας, και μέλος διαφόρων βιομηχανικών Think Tanks και Επιτροπών Εμπειρογνωμόνων. Συνεισφέρει συχνά σε άρθρα γνώμης για τον τομέα και την ενδυνάμωση των γυναικών και είναι τακτική ομιλήτρια σε συνέδρια του κλάδου.
Εκτός από τα managerial skills που κατέχει αποδεδειγμένα, η Έφη είναι ηγέτιδα, με επίγνωση του αντίκτυπου που έχει στην ομάδα της. Πραγματοποιεί ειλικρινείς και σε βάθος συζητήσεις με τους ανθρώπους της που πυροδοτούν τον αυτοστοχασμό και παρακινούν τη δράση και την αλλαγή.
Είναι έμπειρη επαγγελματίας στρατηγικής μάρκετινγκ με ιστορικό επιτυχούς ολοκλήρωσης σύνθετων διεθνών έργων στη ΝΑ Ευρώπη στο παρελθόν, επικεφαλής πολυεθνικών πολυεπιστημονικών ομάδων και συνεργαζόμενη με πολυμερείς ομάδες και φορείς σε εθνικό επίπεδο.
Κατέχει Δίπλωμα Χημικού Μηχανικού (Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης), μεταπτυχιακούς τίτλους στην Πολιτιστική Διαχείριση (City University of London) και στο Marketing (Chartered Institute of Marketing of London). Είναι εκπαιδεύτρια ενηλίκων, πιστοποιημένη business coach, Associate του Chartered Institute of Marketing London, μέντορας σε προγράμματα επιχειρηματικότητας, Διπλωματούχος φλαουτίστρια και εθελόντρια στο Make-A-Wish-Greece.
Είναι τέλος, μια υπερήφανη μητέρα ενός εννιάχρονου αγοριού.
