John Iliadis

John is currently leading the IT Infrastructure Business Unit at TEIRESIAS S.A., directing the operation and transformation of 24/7 resilient digital infrastructures offering services to tens of thousands of users, delivering informed risk choices towards profitable outcomes and developing versatile teams. He is also currently serving as a Board Member of (ISC)2 Hellenic Chapter, which won the 2022 (ISC)2 Global Achievement Award, being the most impactful Chapter in the EMEA region.

His experience of more than 20 years has been diverse, ranging from conducting basic and applied research on Information Security, developing commercially used digital signatures software, system & network administration of financial IT infrastructures, consulting on data privacy issues, designing security architectures and performing information risk management. The last 10 years he has been leading teams that run IT & InfoSec Operations, design InfoSec and Data Privacy controls and perform paradigm shifts of IT infrastructures, ensuring that business goals are achieved on time, on budget and on quality.

His published research work includes more than 20 international journal papers, conference papers and book chapters, which have been cited more than 300 times. His academic degrees include a PhD and an MSc in Information Security, a BSc in Computer Engineering, academic diplomas and certificates in Management, Negotiation and Business Administration, . He is a Chartered Manager and maintains the CMgr MCMI,  CISSP-ISSMP,  CISM,  CISSP,  CRISC,  CCSP,  CCSK,  CSSLP,  SSCP,  COBIT ,  ITIL and DPO Executive certifications.
